Having grown up in Holland, Gibbs travelled to LA at 18 to work at a Hollywood animation studio alongside her brother. This creative path took a change of direction as she went on to study interior design in London before heading to New Zealand to train in high-end interiors. These international influences have given Gibbs a wealth of inspiration to draw from which is evident in her eclectic style.

Born and bred in London, Parker grew up on building sites working for his fathers company. Although he decided to study History & Politics at university, he always returned back to site whenever possible as that is where his true passion lay. With an attention to detail instilled in him from a young age and an ability to turn his hand to anything, he is the practical, grounding force of this duo.

Eventually meeting in London in 2015 as colleagues, Gibbs and Parker became good friends and would dream about starting their own company one day.

One day came in 2017, when Parker+Gibbs was launched in the heart of Clerkenwell by these two friends who would a few years later become husband and wife – a true testament to how well they work together.

Now living in West Sussex, this husband and wife team pair their creativity and craftsmanship and draw from each others expertise and knowledge gained from over thirty years combined experience in the design and build industry.
